Stacy R. Preston, Esq.

Founder and Managing Attorney

Stacy practices Probate and Estate Planning. She is passionate about her clients and loves when they share their unique stories with her. Deeply empathetic and sensitive to the challenges her clients face, Stacy is dedicated to providing caring, attentive legal service.

Stacy serves as Secretary of the Maitland Area Chamber Board of Directors and is a member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Section and the Solo and Small Firm Section of the Florida Bar.

Raised in Florida from a young age, Stacy is proud to call the Sunshine State home. She earned her education locally — St. John Vianney, Oak Ridge High School, Valencia College, the University of Central Florida, and Florida A and M University College of Law.

Stacy's career path gives her a unique ability to connect with a wide range of people. She spent several years working for the Ninth Circuit Court as a civil, probate, and guardianship law clerk, gaining firsthand insight into both the inner workings of the court system and how failing to plan for the unexpected can devastate a family. She also spent over a decade working for Walt Disney World. Stacy is a proud Navy mom and a longtime supporter of the military.

A lifelong Chicago Bears fan, Stacy still holds tight to the glory of the 1985 Bears.

Joanna J. Payette, Esq.

Attorney and Shareholder

Joanna focuses primarily on Guardianship. Watching family members lovingly support one another through illness and incapacity — combined with a deep interest in healthcare ethics she developed during her undergraduate studies — shaped her commitment to advocating for those affected by guardianship law.

Joanna serves as President of the Stetson University Alumni Association, is in her eighth year on the Stetson University Alumni Board of Directors, and sits on the Stetson University Board of Trustees.

A Florida native born in Tampa, Joanna's family has called the Sunshine State home for over 70 years. She is a graduate of Barry University School of Law, where she held several leadership positions and first discovered her passion for Florida guardianship law.

Joanna was a four-year student-athlete on Stetson University's softball team, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree, and later spent 13 years as an assistant coach for Stetson Softball. She also holds a Master of Science in Education from the University of Miami.

Faith Henderson

Paralegal

Faith is a paralegal at Orange Blossom Law PLLC, supporting the attorneys in guardianship and complex probate matters. Faith has worked in the Central Florida legal community since early 2022 and joined the firm in May 2024. Her background blends strong communication skills with training in mental health. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Lamar University. This education helps her approach sensitive matters and complex mental-health-related issues with care and clearly communicate clients’ stories to the Court through well-supported pleadings. Faith came to Central Florida from Texas through the Disney College Program in 2017 and made the region her permanent home in 2020. Outside of work, Faith enjoys Taylor Swift’s music, pop-punk karaoke nights, and anything related to pandas.

Deanna Torres

Estate Planning Paralegal

Deanna is an Estate Planning Paralegal who has been with Orange Blossom Law for over two years. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida—Go Knights! Outside of work, Deanna enjoys running, baking, exploring local markets, and discovering new nature trails.

Calista Ng

Legal Assistant

Calista is a Legal Assistant in our probate practice area who has been with Orange Blossom Law for two years. She earned both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Criminology at Florida State University. When Calista is not in the office, she enjoys trying new restaurants with friends, playing pickleball, video games, escape rooms, cooking, shopping, and scrapbooking. Calista loves music and can play five instruments. Her one-year-old mini dachshund, Mila, keeps her busy at home.

Alexandra E. Hernandez

Legal Assistant

Alexandra is a Legal Assistant with the firm, where she focuses on the guardianship area of the firm’s practice. She has been with the firm for over a year and holds two associate degrees from Valencia College: an Associate in Science in Paralegal Studies and an Associate in Arts in General Studies. She works closely with facilities to locate and secure guardians for residents and to assist with their care and well-being. Outside of work, she is a devoted dog lover, avid reader, and hockey fan.

Miranda Stewart

Legal Assistant and Billing Specialist

Miranda has been part of Orange Blossom Law since September 2025. She earned her Associate in Arts in General Studies from Valencia College. Miranda assists with the preparation of annual reports in guardianship cases, manages client invoicing, and provides administrative support to help ensure matters are handled efficiently. Outside of work, Miranda enjoys reading and staying active.
